At Vela Med Spa, beauty is about more than appearance — it is about confidence, healing, self-care, and feeling like yourself at every stage of life.

Vela was founded from both professional expertise and deeply personal experience, with a vision to create a space where women feel cared for, empowered, and truly seen. After years in the beauty, wellness, and healthcare industry, I developed a passion for helping women age confidently while still feeling beautiful, vibrant, and like the best version of themselves.

The name Vela represents guidance, light, and moving forward — a reflection of the experience we hope every patient has when they walk through our doors. We believe aesthetics should never feel intimidating or superficial. Instead, they should feel supportive, personalized, and empowering.

My journey with Vela became even more personal after facing cancer myself. Walking through treatment opened my eyes to how deeply beauty, wellness, and self-confidence are connected to healing. It also revealed a significant gap in the industry — a need for compassionate, specialized aesthetic and wellness services designed specifically for cancer patients and survivors.

Vela is the beginning of a much larger vision: creating a specialty salon and medspa where cancer patients can safely receive aesthetic treatments, hair services, wigs, wellness support, and personalized care tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to build a space where women can feel beautiful, supported, and confident during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Today, Vela remains intentionally boutique and privately owned. We are not a large chain or an impersonal “one-size-fits-all” practice. Every patient who walks through our doors matters to us. We believe in building genuine relationships, delivering honest guidance, and creating elevated experiences rooted in trust, education, and individualized care.
